FIELD 18 - REMARKS

Use this section to include additional information in the flight plan for the filing authority to review. Several of the inputs are completed automatically by the software.

Details

RMK/

Plain language remarks for extra information. The software completes this automatically with your supplier's contact details (as the organisation filing the flight plan) and the crew contact. Extra information can be entered by clicking + to add a further RMK text box.

EET/

The software automatically calculates the estimated enroute time to FIR boundaries and for Yankee/Zulu changes to VFR where appropriate.

DEP/ & DEST/

Enter names and coordinates of departure and destination aerodromes when these have no ICAO designation (entered as ZZZZ in ADEP and ADEST in the main section).

Enter coordinates in ddmmNdddmmE format. The location is automatically displayed on the flight map.

RMK/ASL

Enter the flight’s slot number if regulated.

ALTN/

If you have used ZZZZ as an alternate, enter the aerodrome name here.

TALT/

Enter the take-off alternate aerodrome.

RALT/

Enter the en-route alternate aerodrome(s).

REG/

The software automatically inserts the aircraft registration if the flight plan is prepared with a flight number (from the aircraft configuration).

OPR/

The software automatically inserts the ICAO designation and/or name of the aircraft operator (from the aircraft configuration).

PBN/

The software automatically inserts the Performance-Based Navigation code for the aircraft (from the aircraft configuration).

TYP/

Enter name and description of aircraft type if ZZZZ entered in the aircraft configuration.

PER/

Enter aircraft performance data if not standard.

COM/

Enter information on aircraft communications equipment not specified in the aircraft configuration.

NAV/

The software automatically inserts navigation equipment information.

SAR/

Enter information on search and rescue equipment not included in the aircraft configuration.

SUR/

Enter information on surveillance applications or capabilities not included in the aircraft configuration.

SEL/

Enter the SELCAL code for the aircraft if a selective-calling radio is installed.

STS/

Enter indicators for special treatment by air traffic control if appropriate.

RMK/FROM

Enter the ICAO designation of the previous departure (optional).

RMK/PIC

Enter pilot-in-command details including the ANAC number if flying through Brazilian airspace.

RMK/SIC

Enter second-in-command details including the ANAC number if flying through Brazilian airspace

Additional Information such as STAYINFO1/

Enter details of waypoints where you want to stay longer during your flight. Give the reason. Add details of the waypoints and duration in the route box in the main route planning section, which adds the time to the required endurance for the fuel calculation.

IFPS Reroute Accepted

If required, select this option if you are willing to accept any rerouting required by the filing authority.
