Quick File

Home Location

Set this to the location of your normal base; you can then tap  when creating a new flight using Quick File to select this location as the departure or destination of your flight.

Default Destination Name

An identifier to use in the Field 18 remarks for your flight to describe the destination (if your destination does not have its own identifier).

Snap-To Radius

The radius within which a tap on the map snaps to the nearest PBD point when creating a VFR route using the map.

Default Stay Time

The duration selected by default for a stay in a flight route.

File Custom Waypoint As

The format used when defining user waypoints. Choose between bearing and distance or coordinates.

Automatic Crew Integration

Select the integration option to automatically use the pilot in command (PIC) listed in your FlightPlan account settings.
Otherwise, you can manually amend the PIC and their contact details.

Speed to Start/Stop Recording

When your aircraft speed reaches the selected value, the app begins recording your position to track its journey; recording stops when the speed drops below the value.

Max. Hover Time

This value is used to avoid prematurely ending flight tracking when an aircraft appears to be stationary.

Min. Time Between Recorded Points

These settings control the frequency with which the aircraft position is recorded.

Min. Distance Between Recorded Points

Aircraft Icon Colour

Choose the colour of the icon used to represent your aircraft's position on the map.

Do Not Show Aircraft Icon If Position Accuracy Exceeds Limit

Select a limit for the GPS accuracy of your device; if the position cannot be measured to within this distance, the aircraft icon will not be shown on the map screen.

NOTAMS

NOTAMs Colour

Either enter the hexadecimal code for the colour you want to use for the NOTAM map overlay, or tap the coloured circle on the right of the screen to choose from a palette.

User Defined Areas

User Area Colour

Either enter the hexadecimal code for the colour you want to use for the User Defined Area map overlay, or tap the coloured circle on the right of the screen to choose from a palette.

Postal Addresses

Only enabled on certain accounts. Tap DOWNLOAD to save the data to your device. Tap DELETE to remove the data from your device if no longer needed.

Terrain Data

(Available Regions)

Allows the terrain height to be displayed on the vertical profile.
Tap DOWNLOAD to save the data to your device. Tap DELETE to remove the data from your device if no longer needed.

Data Update

Automatically Update Data When Using Wi-fi

Keeps the app's data updated whenever the device can connect to wi-fi.

Delete All Briefing Packs

Tap to delete briefing packs from your device as needed.

Account Settings

Delete My Account

Allows you to compose and send an email requesting permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
