EXPORTING YOUR FLIGHT PLAN
You can export an entire flight plan in two general ways:
- You can download the flight plan in a number of different file formats suitable for various navigation devices.
- You can uplink the flight plan so it can be used by your aircraft's avionics system.
Note: You can also export the key data from all your flight plans as a table in a *.csv file from the All Flights screen.
To download the flight plan:
- Click Export Route in the flight planning menu.
The Export dialog will be displayed. - Click the Download option you require, and wait for the software to prompt you to open the file or select a save location.
To uplink the flight plan:
- Click Export Route in the flight planning menu.
The Export dialog will be displayed. - Click the Uplink option you require.
An Uplink dialog will be displayed which contains a short summary of the file to be uplinked. - Click the Uplink button and wait for a message confirming the uplink to be displayed.
- Either click OK or click View Uplink Log to display all exported flight plans (see below).
Note: Before uplinking to a Euronav system, you must enter a valid mobile telephone number in the Aircraft settings menu.
To use an uplinked flight plan:
- Click on the Report and Logs drop-down menu (available under More in the main menu).
- Click Uplink Log.
A list of all the uplinked flight plans on your account is displayed. - Locate the flight plan you want to use.
To find a flight plan, click Search and then use any of the fields provided to filter the results. (Note: ACID is aircraft identification.) - Enter the Recall Number of the chosen flight plan (shown in the Uplink Log) into the aircraft's avionics system to transfer the flight plan.
